What data we process

We process the following personal data:

  • Contact form: name, email address, phone number (if provided) and the content of your message.
  • Reservations: when you book a table via our reservation system Tebi, Tebi processes your name, email address, phone number and booking details (date, time, party size, any allergies or remarks) on our behalf. Please see Tebi's own privacy policy for more information.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and browsing behaviour automatically collected when you visit our website (see "Cookies" below).

Why we use your data

  • To handle your enquiry or reservation
  • To maintain contact with you as a guest
  • To improve our website and services
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as our tax record-keeping

Legal basis for processing

We process your data on one of the following legal grounds:

  • Performance of a contract, for example a reservation
  • Your consent, for example when submitting the contact form
  • Our legitimate interest, for example to secure and improve our website

Retention period

  • Contact form messages are kept for a maximum of 12 months after your enquiry has been handled.
  • Reservation data is retained in line with Tebi's policy and, where relevant to our own records, for the statutory tax retention period of 7 years.
  • We never keep personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

Sharing with third parties

We only share your data with third parties when necessary for our services or where required by law, including:

  • Tebi — our online reservation system
  • Resend — for sending emails from our contact form
  • [Hosting provider] — for hosting our website

Where required, we have data processing agreements in place with these parties. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

Cookies

Our website only uses strictly necessary (functional) cookies, for example to remember your language preference (NL/EN) and to make the website function properly. Dutch telecommunications law does not require prior consent for this type of cookie.
